Eighteen years in the Voice Over department of J. Michael Bloom & Associates. Head of the department from 1989 to 1999. From 1999 to the present, President of Access Talent.

Prior to becoming an agent, Chas attended the Hotchkiss School, Colby College (Major: Political Science) and the Yale School of Drama (Directing Program). Subsequently, he worked for Mabou Mines Theater Company, both in residence (Public Theater, PS 122), as well as on tour in North America, Europe and Australia. Chas performed onstage as well as executing audio designs for the company's pieces, most notably a revolutionary sound design for JoAnne Akalaitis' Dead End Kids, incorporating sound cues as diverse as a custom recording of Philip Glass and a point-blank atom bomb detonation.

Chas also serves as the Chairman of a 501(c)3 historical society in New York City. Operating under a charter from the New York State Board of Regents, The Elisha Kent Kane Historical Society examines the history of polar exploration. Specializing in the opening of the Canadian Arctic during the 19th century, the EKKHS' website can be found at: www.ekkane.org

Chas' other interests include computers and industry prognostication and pontification. He is also the webmaster of this site...
